Genuine pearl pendant was handmade in Nepal with sterling silver. Pendant is 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide and is sold separate from the chain shown. Pearl is the birthstone for June and the third anniversary stone. Pearls are formed by a mollusk coats an irritant with nacre. Nacre is also the iridescent inner lining of a mollusks shell. To clean pendant: simply use a polishing cloth to brighten the silver.
