Beautiful handmade sterling silver dangle earrings has extinct wooly mammoth ivory in the design. These dangle earrings are 2 1/4 inches long and 3/4 inch wide and come with a pair of clear rubber earring stopper for the French wires. Now extinct, the Mammoth roamed the earth until about 15,000 years ago. Mammoth ivory is usually found by gold miners in Alaska and Canada. This material is legal to carve and own. Care: Due to the natural state of the ivory, use only a jewelry cleaning cloth to polish any metal. Do not use jewelry cleaners, chemicals, soaps, or detergents. Avoid extreme heat, moisture, and soaking.
