This sea turtle pendant is handmade with sterling silver and ancient fossil walrus ivory with a brilliant blue topaz gemstone accent. Turtle pendant is 1 3/4 inches high and 7/8 inch wide and is sold separate from the snake chain shown. Walrus tusk is 500 to 3,000 years old and excavated along the Bering coast of Alaska by Eskimo families. This material is legal to carve and own. Care: Due to the natural state of the ivory, use only a jewelry cleaning cloth to polish any metal. Do not use jewelry cleaners, chemicals, soaps, or detergents. Avoid extreme heat, moisture, and soaking.
