Sterling Silver Fossil Walrus Ivory Octopus Moonstone Pendant
This fun octopus is hand carved ancient walrus tusk ivory and is set in a sterling silver swirling wave setting with facet sparkling rainbow moonstones. Pendant is sold separate from the chain shown and is 1 1/4 inches wide. Walrus tusk is 500 to 3,000 years old and excavated along the Bering coast of Alaska by Eskimo families. This material is legal to carve and own. Care: Due to the natural state of the ivory, use only a jewelry cleaning cloth to polish any metal. Do not use jewelry cleaners, chemicals, soaps, or detergents. Avoid extreme heat, moisture, and soaking.
