This emerald 6x8mm oval gemstone is set in a sterling silver setting with a rhodium finish. Rhodium protects the silver from tarnishing and created a stronger setting. Pendant is 5/8 inch long and 1/4 inch wide and comes on an 18 inch long diamond cut cable chain with a round spring clasp. To clean: simple wash in a mild detergent like Dawn with a tooth brush. You do not want to put a rhodium plated piece of jewelry in any harsh chemicals.
