This mermaid was made by delicately hand carving the design in a wax mold. Then sterling silver is poured to fill in the wax. Popular in our area of Norfolk, Virginia, the mermaid is the city's symbol and there are mermaid sculptures and art throughout the city. Our sterling silver Norfolk mermaid pendant is 1 inch high and 1 3/8 inches wide and is sold separate from the silver cable chain shown. Comes inside a jewelry gift box. To clean: simply use a jewelry polishing cloth to brighten the silver when needed.
